Anela Vukoja is an Associate with Catenion and lives in Berlin.
After obtaining her PhD in the field of neurobiology from the Freie Universitaet in Berlin, Anela has joined Catenion where she focuses on R&D strategy and opportunity assessment in the biopharma space. Furthermore, she became fascinated by pricing and reimbursement topics in the pharmaceutical context while doing research for a publication on the subject.
Anela is enthusiastic about social and educational projects and has been volunteering in this area for many years now. If any spare time is left, she enjoys traveling, cycling and extensively perusing the cultural offerings of Berlin.
Anela has obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from the Freie Universitaet Berlin for her work on the development and homeostasis of the nervous system. Her interest in neurobiology was cemented already during her master’s studies in Graz, Austria when she investigated intracellular trafficking of neurotransmitter receptors for her master’s thesis. Anela has completed her grammar school education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where she is originally from.
