Mayur is an Associate with Catenion and lives in Berlin.
Mayur joined Catenion after finishing his postdoctoral research at Charitè – Berlin where he focused on studying the molecular mechanisms underlying autism spectrum disorders and Rett Syndrome. A neurobiologist by training, he has worked on aspects of brain development and disorders both. He has participated in organizing several international STEM conferences and has given talks about career opportunities for STEM scholars.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading and capturing moments with his camera. He also supports organization working towards education of underprivileged children in India.
After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from University of Delhi, New Delhi (India), Mayur pursued his Master’s in Biology from the prestigious Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai (India). He then moved to Germany to pursue his PhD in neuroscience from the Max Planck Institute of Experimental Medicine, Göttingen, followed by postdoctoral research at Charitè Berlin.
